Contributor Guidelines

Please go through the following guidelines in order to understand the expectations before you send the article to us:

I. Before writing the article, here is what we want:

Length of the article: the ideal length of the article is 500-800 words but there is no issue if they are longer. However, remember not to write more than 1500 words.

Topics: we are specifically looking for articles which can motivate and inspire our readers. Along with that, they must be in accordance with the latest trends and be informative as well.

These articles must provide tips which our customers can apply in practical life.

Unique and a well-defined message: we are looking for articles that offer out-of-the-box thinking to our readers. For that, you can take the following steps:

  1. Website browsing: this will enable you to get a rough idea about the kind of articles we want by checking out our published articles. We want something different and unique so it is a good idea to write an article which is fresh and innovative.
  2. Share your personal experience: it would be a great idea to share your personal experience. This could be some problems you faced in the past and the steps you took to solve them. We would love to hear your side of the story.
  3. Provide current trends information: it is very important to be updated while writing an article. In that way, you can better explain the latest trends and their impacts to our readers. Share your perspective on how the products can be changed according to the changing times.

Provide tips and advices: an ideal article must have tips and suggestions for the users to follow. The tips or advices must be clear enough to be put into practice right away.

It would be even better if the tips are something the user hasn’t heard before. Articles not having suggestions and tips are likely to be rejected immediately.

Reliable sources: for an article to be successful, it is of utmost significance that you give multiple reliable sources of your information.

Wikipedia is a good platform but it is not the most trustworthy for the accurate information. Provide some external links where the reader can find more information about the topics discussed in the article.

Set up interviews: our editors are always ready to arrange an interview of trustworthy sources.

It is recommended that you should discuss with your editor before scheduling an interview especially if the person concerned is well known or famous.

It could be possible that we may have already contacted them and that may lead to duplicate coverage.

Important note: keep in mind that a contributor is free to tell the source or public relation professional that they are working on an article.

However, a contributor is not a member of the staff and is strictly prohibited to represent himself as such in front of any source or at an event.

II. Steps to remember before submitting an article:

Proofreading of the article is a must before you submit it. Grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and informal language will not be tolerated at any cost and the article will be immediately rejected.

Go through our style guidelines. To make your article better, check out our style guidelines to make sure you are not making any mistakes.

The guide is given at the end of this document. Before submitting the article, follow these guidelines.

Provide links of the source. As far as possible, provide the links of your source as this will greatly help the user in attaining more information about the topic by further reading.

If your article doesn’t have these links, the chances of publication are minimal. The editor will not do this work, you have to do it yourself.

In case you have interviewed someone for the article, don’t forget to mention the same to your editors as well as the readers so they can have a better understanding of your article.

Let us know the nature of financial relationship: if you have any kind of financial relationship with the source or company or the person you are interviewing, do let us know the same.

Your readers have a right to know and so do we. Not complying with this rule will lead to removing your article immediately.

If you have further questions about the issue, you can talk to your editor.

You are not allowed to write about a source or company by taking money from them. You also cannot sell links to any source or company in exchange for money.

It is against our policy and anyone not following this rule will be prohibited to work with us ever again.

Make your argument more compelling by providing the names of multiple company names. If you are trying to make a point, the best way to do that is by providing multiple examples.

We do not accept just one example of a company in our articles unless it is popular and well-established company.

Kindly let us know if the article is time-bound. These kinds of articles are usually given preference while publishing. For example, if it is a piece having latest happenings, let the editor know by writing it on the subject line of the mail.

You can’t just pass off an old article for a new one just by making some minor changes. We can easily spot these articles and reject them outright.

Submit original articles only. Articles with plagiarism are not acceptable at any cost. This is something we do not tolerate at all.

Too much of self-advertisement is a big no. Do not advertise or promote your company or books more than needed. These articles will not be published by us.

You can provide an article with 1 or 2 links and any more than that will be deleted instantaneously. We want articles which educate and not promote something.
